A one day workshop which will focus on using simple ceramic moulds to create dishes and plates, as well as two-dimensional pieces/tiles made from slabs of clay. Suitable for complete beginners or those who would like a refresher.
You will learn how to make and attach feet or a footring to your dishes, refine the form before moving onto decoration. Surface decoration will include learning some simple low-tech print processes, incising/markmaking, stencilling, and other approaches to slip decoration.
Your work will be fired and glazed ready to collect a few weeks later. You will receive an email when the pieces are ready to collect.
The cost is inclusive of materials, preparation and firings.
