Ceramic artist Steph Liddle and textile artist Zephyr Liddell show new works inspired by Arbroath Abbey and the town of Arbroath - part of Making History.

The Event

Ceramic artist Steph Liddle and textile artist Zephyr Liddell used HES's archives and visits to the Abbey to inspire their creations. Also on show are works by ceramic artist David Gray, inspired by Dunblane Cathedral; glass artist Steven Graham who researched Dunfermline Abbey; and jeweller Ali Forbes who took inspiration from Melrose Abbey.

Making History is a maker-in-residence Scotland-wide initiative, supported by Historic Environment Scotland (HES) and Craft Scotland, bringing makers in residence to some of Scotland’s finest historical buildings.
