Help build a picture of Scotland's contemporary craft sector.
Every three years Craft Scotland circulate a sector survey to understand how the contemporary craft sector in Scotland is developing.
The data we gather is immensely useful as it enables us to gather insight into the strengths of Scotland’s contemporary craft sector, as well as the challenges facing makers. We use this information to advocate for support and investment in the sector, and make it widely available to others working in craft across Scotland and Europe.

We are asking makers and craft professionals across Scotland to complete a short survey sharing some information on their craft practice, including their income from craft over the previous four financial years.
We have appointed EKOS, an economic research agency, to deliver this survey on our behalf. It should take no more than 15 minutes to complete, and all responses will be strictly confidential. No individual details will be reported in line with EKOS’ privacy policy.
Closing date for entries is 5pm, Tuesday 21 July 2026.
Prize Draw
We are offering a prize draw of one £150 bursary for a survey participant. Please add your details at the end of the survey if you wish to be included in the draw.
