Lead Artist - Illuminate Together

Inspired by light and community, Illuminate Together brings together local people through creative lantern-making, culminating in a celebration at Banchory Bonfire Night on November 7.

The Barn are seeking applications from artists with experience in community engagement and working with schools, within the field of craft/visual arts. As this project involves developing relationships with local communities, they particularly encourage applications from artists based in North East of Scotland.

The project involves developing a creative lantern-making concept, delivered in schools. Plus the facilitation of a drop-in session at the Barn's Plenty Festival on 4 October, and attendance the celebration on 7 November 2026

The fee is £2,700 + expenses (based on SAU Rates of Pay).
