RE:MADE 2026: Open Call for Makers & Designers

Govanhill Baths Community Trust is inviting applications from makers, designers, artists and creative practitioners to take part in RE:MADE, a festive market of reuse, repair and reinvention.

Closing date: 30 Sep 2026

Taking place at The Deep End and Romano Lav in Glasgow’s Southside on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026, RE:MADE will bring together a carefully selected group of makers producing beautiful, original work with environmental responsibility at the heart of their practice.

Of particular interest is work that uses reclaimed, salvaged, recycled, surplus or found materials; extends the life of existing materials or objects; explores repair and circular approaches; or demonstrates other thoughtful ways of reducing the environmental impact of making.

Applications welcome across craft, art and design, including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, print, illustration, homeware, fashion and accessories, woodwork and other forms of contemporary making.

Makers and artists from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Applications will be selected according to:

- the quality and originality of the work
- the strength of its connection to the RE:MADE ethos
- its contribution to a varied and balanced market

You do not need to work exclusively with reclaimed materials to apply. A broad range of environmentally responsible approaches, including reuse, repair, responsible sourcing, waste reduction, circular design and lower-impact production are of interest.
