This is an example of what I make and sell most, with this Sea & Sky style of glazing very popular with gallery sales. It has been inspired by the shorlines of Argyll islands but the abstract nature of the layering allows people to see their own special place.

I am strongly influenced by the depth of skill that the old master potters can offer us but I am drawn to contemporary shapes of clean lines and no fuss. These serving dishes (again with Sea & Sky glazing) show the simple pleasing form of wide cylindrical simplicity.
