I am a self taught felt maker from Fife. I fell in to felt making as I had sheep and wanted to find a meaningful way of using the fleece. Fleece/wool has sadly become undervalued, therefore I am trying to raise its awareness as not only being useful but also as an artists medium. I make felted fleece rugs, vessels and wall hangings using the traditional method of wet felting which is the first known form of textile making. Everything I make is made entirely by me, by hand.
