Crafting Identities - Fife Contemporary in Conversation with Cat Dunn

This is a recording of a live talk that took place in October 2022 between Fife Contemporary's Kate Grenyer and Glasgow-based artist, curator, researcher and activist, Cat Dunn. They discussed Cat's previous curatorial projects and the evolution of her practice as a jeweller and curator.

Her work creates dialogue about social identity and engages potentially divisive subjects such as colonialism, slavery, racism and feminism, with openness and clarity. This talk also provided a platform to announce our next exhibition, “Crafted Selves: The Unfinished Conversation”.

Curated by Cat Dunn, the exhibition will open in St Andrews in October 2023, and will explore the relationship between making and the artists’ sense of self and identity.
