Beginners Jesmonite Coaster Casting Workshop

Join David from Art for Foodies for a 2.5-hour Jesmonite casting workshop in Glasgow and learn the fun process of crafting your very own set of four drinks coasters.

This hands-on activity is specially designed for beginners, so no prior experience with Jesmonite is required. David will show you how to mix and cast Jesmonite AC100 – a safe and eco-friendly material – using silicone moulds.

You will learn how to add pigment to create your desired colours and achieve four different finishes for each coaster. He'll also provide guidance for how to finish your pieces so they look good and are ready to use.
