Working in brass, you’ll learn how to shape, forge, texture, and finish elegant hair pins designed to be both beautiful and functional. You might choose to create a minimalist hammered pin, an organic forged form, a twisted design, or something more decorative and sculptural, inspired by historical and contemporary examples.

There will be plenty of opportunities to experiment with shape and surface, allowing you to create a piece that reflects your own style while learning practical techniques that can be adapted into future jewellery projects.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with one or more finished brass hair pins ready to wear — functional objects with the feel of small wearable sculptures.
