Crafting & Making Workshops

Edinburgh Open Workshop is excited to announce its latest course drop - featuring an expanded range of hands-on workshops in woodworking, welding, DIY, mixed media, and two newly developed laser-cutting workshops.

This season’s line-up introduces fresh opportunities for beginners and seasoned makers alike to learn new skills directly from professional makers, many of whom are resident or PAYG members of EOW’s vibrant creative community.

Building on EOW’s growing laser-cutting offering, this winter course-drop includes two brand-new creative experiences that open up exciting possibilities for precision design and modern making: Craft Your Own Christmas Tree and Craft Your Own Acrylic Lamp.

These additions join a line-up of refreshed and returning favourites such as Furniture Upcycling, Craft a Stool, Essentials of DIY, and a range of Woodworking and Welding workshops.

These workshops offer an ideal way to start 2026 with a new skill, explore a creative passion, or gain confidence in practical techniques.
