Take a moment to slow down and immerse yourself in the quiet, mindful rhythm of hand-stitching. In this one-day workshop at Deemouth Artist Studios, Aberdeen. I’ll guide you through a range of simple embroidery techniques to help you ‘draw’ with thread — creating texture, movement and depth on cloth.
Whether you’re completely new to embroidery or looking to develop your own stitching style, this small, relaxed class (maximum 5 participants) will give you the confidence to experiment and play with your own creative ideas.
You’ll leave with a beautiful sampler of stitches to inspire future projects, along with the skills to bring your own designs to life. All materials are provided, and the day includes tea, coffee, and gentle conversation.
