The Forth Bridges Creative Trail returns on 30–31 May, following its inaugural edition in 2025. This community-led initiative spans South Queensferry, Dalmeny and Bo’ness, bringing together over 35 artists and makers across 11 venues.
The programme includes open studios, exhibitions, workshops, and a school art competition, offering opportunities for the public to engage directly with contemporary practice across a range of disciplines including painting, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork and craft.
The Trail is rooted in placemaking and community engagement, reflecting the role of creative practice in shaping local identity and supporting cultural and economic vitality. Set within a distinctive landscape framed by the Forth Bridges, the event highlights the area’s evolving cultural significance and its network of independent artists, makers and businesses.
The Trail encourages informal encounters between artists and audiences, fostering dialogue, participation and a greater awareness of local creative activity within a broader regional context.
