Discover the art of glass fusing in this hands-on workshop. Learn the essential techniques of cutting, layering, and fusing glass to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Guided by Una Galbraith, you’ll explore the properties of glass, experiment with colour and texture, learn how to cut glass. You can choose to focus on a free-standing curve or wave shape that will be slumped (an option not available in Una’s half-day workshops – the price includes materials and multiple kiln firings that are required for this). Alternatively, if you prefer, you can design a few small projects, such as jewellery, drink stirrers, bookmarks, hanging decorations, tiles, or magnets.
With all materials and tools provided, this workshop offers a relaxed and creative environment. Perfect for anyone curious about glass art, this introduction promises a fun and inspiring experience.
