Introduction to the Tiffany Technique (Copper Foil) in Stained Glass – Festive Decorations

In this half-day, hands-on, taster workshop, Iwona Koziel will introduce you to the traditional craft of stained glass using the Tiffany technique. In a welcoming and encouraging environment, Iwona will teach you how to make a contemporary stained glass festive decoration – you can choose from an angel or a star – to take home. You will learn how to:

- transfer a pre-prepared festive design onto your choice of stained glass;
- score and break glass and grind sharp glass edges;
- apply copper foil and solder to all pieces of your design together; and
- finish with patina, clean and polish.

This will be an immersive, creative experience where you will learn how to use a variety of stained glass tools such as glass cutters, pliers, electric glass grinder and soldering iron.
