A place of pilgrimage for those in the know, the small and unassuming knitwear shop only hints at the tactile sweetie shop within.
In the studio/shop you’ll find a range of contemporary knitwear. Fusing influences from life in Shetland with artistic inspiration, designer Niela Nell Kalra is renowned for inventive yet wearable knit collections and use of colour.
Their alternative Shetland knitwear is now worn by people all over the world.
The studio/shop has an inviting and informal atmosphere – come and browse, find out about the unexpected origins of the collections and hear about running a knitwear business in this beautiful, rural location.
