You will practise various techniques for mark making on fabric– freehand painting, simple screen printing with paper stencils, lino/foam stamps, tapes – as well as considering pattern placement and colour.
In the afternoon, you will be able to use some of your fabric to create your own unique lampshade or alternatively, a square wall panel.
Participants of all abilities are welcome (over 16’s only), and all materials are provided.
This is a very small class for a maximum of 4 people.
The same workshop is also running on Sunday 24th May and alternative dates can be arranged to suit . 1:1 sessions are welcomed too.
