Students on this workshop will select a beautiful piece of tumbled sea glass and learn how to incorporate it into a unique ring.
The day will begin with a demonstration of how to make a basic ring out of wire. Different textures and finishes can then be applied to allow each student to create an individually designed ring. Students will practice this technique before moving on to create a bezel setting for their sea glass. This workshop is an ideal introduction to ring making and an opportunity to learn jewellery techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering and stone setting. Suitable for complete beginners as well as students looking to expand their skills.
All materials are provided including a limited amount of silver.
