This 3 day workshop is a full exploration of all the unique properties of silver clay. Because it is such a soft and malleable material it takes detailed texture extremely well and can also be modelled and moulded to create forms which are usually only achievable with the lost wax casting process. Making jewellery with silver clay requires few of the tools usually needed and the ability to fuse wire and stones into it means entire pieces can be made without the need for silver soldering.
Over the course of you will learn about these properties and more! And the techniques and tools needed to make a wide range of different types of jewellery. You will come away with a number of pieces of jewellery and the confidence to make pieces at home.
Suitable for silver clay beginners.
Workshop includes £60 of silver materials, including 24g of silver clay.
