This workshop is an ideal introduction to making rings out of silver and an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of jewellery making, including sawing, filing and soldering.
The day will begin with a demonstration of how to make a basic ring out of wire. Students will then practice this technique before moving on to complete a set of three stacking rings. Different textures and finishes can be applied to allow each student to create an individually designed set of rings. The tutor will be on hand to work with students one-to-one, guiding them through the designing and making of their rings.
All materials are provided including a limited amount of silver.
