Enjoy this Greyhope Bay workshop where Tracey Johnston of Claremont Studio will introduce you to foil embossing to make your own nature inspired illustrated decoration.

About the workshop:

Join local artist and illustrator Tracey Johnston as she guides you through the art of metal foil embossing to make decorations inspired by the wildlife, sealife, flowers and plants found around Greyhope Bay.

In this workshop you will learn how to design and make a set of illustrated decorations to take home and keep. Using recycled and sheet metal foil you will explore how to prepare the surface, design, draw, trace and cut your design.

All materials supplied, no experience necessary.

About the artist:

Tracey Johnston is an artist, illustrator and maker living and working in Aberdeen. Her paintings and prints explore intimate interiors, rooms with views, the landscape, still life and places of safety and sanctuary. Also trading as Claremont Studio, Tracey produces greetings cards, illustrated decorations and scented goods. Her fine art and craft workshops have elements of recycling and re-use at their heart.

Tickets:

£15 per participating adult (non-Crew member)

Crew members and adults over 65 years of age receive a 30% discount
