Tapestry Workshop

Explore a range of techniques that can create surface and texture in tapestry weaving. Whether it is in the subtle surfaces created by varying the warp setting and weft thickness, or the tactile surfaces created by tufting, knotting, whipping. You will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of materials, creating small woven samples, before going on to plan your own tapestry inspired by texture in the landscape and natural world.
