Warm Glass with Una Galbraith - Evening Course

Discover the art of warm glass fusing in this evening course with Una Galbraith. Learn the essential techniques of cutting, layering, fusing and slumping glass to create one-of-a-kind pieces. You’ll explore the properties of glass, experiment with colour and texture, learn how to cut glass, and you’ll complete several projects, learning new techniques each week to incorporate into your own designs.

Over the four weeks, you’ll create several smaller pieces to experiment with the new techniques you’ve been shown, and a couple of larger pieces that can be kept as glass panels for hanging on the wall or slumped into a free-standing shape including curves, waves or candle-holders.

Wednesdays, 6.30pm-9pm, starting on 14 January 2026 for four weeks. The final class will be on 4 February.

Price includes tuition, use of tools and kiln, all materials for week 1, clear glass for weeks 2-4, and tea/coffee/snacks.
