Wool Woven & Wild Festival

Wool, Woven & Wild - a celebration of the region’s rich wool heritage, vibrant textile creativity and remarkable natural landscape. The festival brings together makers, farmers, artists, and the local community for a weekend of learning, sharing and celebration.

Featuring a curated selection of stalls focusing on local wool, textiles and nature-inspired goods, alongside talks exploring all things sheep – from farming traditions to contemporary practices. Visitors can also look forward to community workshops led by inspiring textile practitioners, as well as guided tours of local farms and businesses, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the people and processes shaping the area.

Wool, Woven & Wild aims to spotlight Langholm and the surrounding region as a place where craft, agriculture and landscape are deeply connected, fostering conversations around sustainability, heritage and creative practice.
