Presenting a collection of ambitious new work from Scotland’s makers, Craft Scotland returned to Collect in 2020. Collect, the international art fair for modern craft and design, took place at Somerset House, London from Thursday 27 February – Sunday 1 March 2020.
Craft Scotland showcased eight Scotland-based makers at Collect 2020, held within its iconic new home Somerset House in the heart of London.
Visitors were presented with experimental techniques and innovative materials as the makers played with scale and perceptions of materiality. Collectors, curators and visitors from the UK and abroad engaged with exceptional works in
silversmithing & goldsmithing, furniture making, ceramics, woodworking, weave and blacksmithing.
Organised by the Crafts Council, Collect welcomed over 14,000 visitors including international galleries, artists and collectors. Visitors also experience an insightful programme of events, tours and free talks.
