A new series of online events developed in partnership with Visual Arts Scotland and Creative informatics, aiming to showcase the work of creative practitioners.
Friday Forum will showcase the work of creative practitioners via studio talks, demonstrations, performances and presentations, and be a way in which the creative sector can continue to network, support, feel less isolated, learn and develop whilst in the lockdown situation as well as get paid for showcasing and sharing work.
Each contributor to Friday Forum will receive a £125 fee. 4 contributors will be selected to share at Friday Forums. VAS and Creative Informatics ask that contributions last around 10-15 minutes in length. Contributions can take any form. There will be audience Q&A's after every contribution and throughout the session, and each contributor is required to be a participant in the event for the duration of the Friday Forum which will have a running time of 2-3 hours.
The first Friday Forum will take place Friday 24th April 15:00 - 17:30, and VAS and Creative Informatics plan to run regular sessions fortnightly over the next couple of months.
