Closing date: 8 Jun 2026
Culture North East (CNE) is inviting applications from individuals who want to play an active role in shaping the future of culture across North East of Scotland region. Building on the foundations of Culture Aberdeen, established in 2018, CNE reflects a shift towards regional collaboration and a more connected cultural ecology. CNE are working across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire to strengthen relationships, support members, and position the region as a place where culture is valued, visible, and sustainable. CNE is a company limited by guarantee and operates as a social enterprise. Recognising culture as a key driver of community wellbeing, economic development, and social connection, CNE focuses on creating the conditions for organisations to collaborate, grow, and demonstrate their impact across the region.
CNE are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in areas such as cultural leadership, strategic planning and regional development, governance and legal, marketing and communication, community engagement. A strong understanding of the North East context would be valuable, alongside a commitment to collaboration and shared progress. This is an opportunity to shape a growing organisation at a pivotal moment, as it embeds regional identity and expands its work with members and partners.
