Summerhall Arts has announced an open call to all artists and makers across Scotland for a commission to produce the award objects provided to recipients of the 2026 Bragi Awards.
Closing date: 1 Jun 2026
This is the second year of this commission. 2025 saw Vikki Higginson create the striking awards made from Norwegian glass – linking the Bragi, the Norse God of poetry, storytelling and song to the rugged Scottish landscape.
The Bragi Awards are presented by Summerhall Arts & Shepherd and Wedderburn during the Edinburgh Fringe to productions and artists that embody creativity, experimentation and excellence within new writing, contemporary performance and visual arts across the entire fringe.
The winners of the Bragi awards will be selected by a diverse panel of industry experts and awards will be given out weekly during the Fringe.
