Ceramics Now Magazine is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a landmark issue and is launching its first-ever open call to spotlight ceramic artists from around the world.

This special edition will highlight diverse voices and new perspectives in contemporary ceramics, reflecting the publication’s ongoing commitment to editorial independence and its global community of artists, curators, collectors, writers, and enthusiasts.
About Ceramics Now
Founded in 2010, Ceramics Now is an independent, reader-supported magazine read by over 50,000 people monthly. It is dedicated to showcasing excellence and experimentation in contemporary ceramics, with a strong emphasis on critical engagement and connection across the field.
Opportunity Details
Ceramics Now will select 15–20 ceramic artists to be featured in its December 2025 anniversary issue. Selected artists will receive:

A dedicated artist profile (minimum four pages) in both the digital and print-on-demand edition

Publication on Ceramics Now's website, newsletter, and social media platforms

Promotion to a large international audience of arts professionals

A complimentary one-year subscription to Ceramics Now, including the anniversary issue

Potential inclusion of upcoming solo exhibitions in future editorial content

A chance to be featured on the cover of the magazine

Permanent archival visibility on ceramicsnow.org
All applicants will also receive a complimentary digital copy of the anniversary issue. Submissions may also be considered for future editorial coverage.
Eligibility

Open to all ceramic artists internationally

Submitted works must be made between 2022 and 2025 and consist of at least 60% ceramic material

Artists featured in Ceramics Now Magazine between October 2024 and the present, or those already invited to be featured this year, are not eligible

$15 USD (non-refundable). This fee supports Ceramics Now’s operations as an independent publication and ensures all submissions are carefully reviewed.
