Funding of up to £18,000 available for craftspeople

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) is now accepting applications for its autumn grants round, offering funding of up to £18,000 to support talented craftspeople across the UK.
QEST offers three types of grants:

Scholarships (up to £18,000) for advanced training

Emerging Maker Grants (up to £10,000)

Apprenticeship funding (up to £12,000 towards salary)
Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2025, QEST has awarded £7.2 million to nearly 900 makers in 130+ craft disciplines, supporting both traditional and innovative techniques.
Deadline: 13 August, 5pm
Applications reopen in spring 2026 (7 Jan–11 Feb).
