Videocontest: My Vision of the Future – Future of my Craft

Tracks4Crafts, a Horizon Europe project, has launched a Video Contest to showcase the future of the crafts through the lens of individual visions.

Closing date: 30 Aug 2025

In the past, craftspeople relied on hand tools, inherited techniques, and local materials. Today, crafts integrate 3D printing, laser cutting, bio-based materials, and AI-driven design. Woodworkers use CNC machines, textile craftspeople experiment with smart fabrics, and ceramicists make use of digital modeling. The future of crafts is ever-evolving, blending heritage with innovation, while holding the line on sustainability—and what does this future look like to you?

Join the second Tracks4Crafts Video Contest and share your vision of the future of your craft. First prize includes 500€ and more! Thoughtful, visually engaging, original, and authentic video submissions are invited (2-5 minutes in length in .mp4 format or similar) that showcase crafts and your vision of their future.

Your video may highlight:

  • How have modern technologies or methods influenced your work?
  • What changes are shaping the future of crafts?
  • What does the future hold for your craft?

Tracks4Crafts are looking for real stories, personal insights, and exciting visual storytelling that bring your vision of the future of your crafts to life. Your video can be a short documentary, a personal story, an interview, or any creative format in moving pictures that best showcases your point of view.
