I would like to learn a new craft, can you recommend a workshop?
Our What’s On guide to craft learning experiences in Scotland is brimming with lots of things to see and do. If you do not see a workshop that relates to your chosen craft, you can sign up to our newsletter for future What’s On events.
I would like to meet Craft Scotland to find out how to start up my new craft business.
We are a small team and regrettably we cannot provide one-on-one guidance for new business start-ups. Please visit our Maker Community area that hosts a wide-range of information to help you grow your business including maker opportunities, how-to guides and lists of useful organisations/trade shows.
I would like to apply for funding from Craft Scotland, who do I contact?
Unfortunately, Craft Scotland is not a funding body. We have compiled a list of funding and awards in our Maker Community section that individual makers can apply for.
I saw a maker/artist at an event and want to contact them, can you help?
With over 3,500 makers in Scotland, it is not always possible for Craft Scotland to hold up-to-date information on each and every maker. We recommend using our website search to input details of the work you are looking for, and see if any results on our site help. All contact details we have for makers on our Craft Directory are found on their profile page. Makers and Destinations maintain their own profile pages, and are responsible for incorrect or out of date details. We cannot provide any details other than those given on the Craft Directory.
I would like to be featured on your website, how do I do this?
We are always on the lookout for the latest in Scottish contemporary craft news. If you have any stories you would like to share, please send your news to hello@craftscotland.org.
