FOUNDATION LEVEL

No experience in glass cutting and fusing is required.

Class Description:

Avoid costly mistakes by learning all the tricks and tips in this thorough and informative foundation course.

With a 'hands on' focus, Each student will work with Bullseye Glass (CoE90). but will have an over view on different glass you can use.

You will finish this two day class with a range of excellent glass samples, Jewelery as well as a set of coasters and one finished piece showcasing the techniques learnt.

The aim will be to give you the confidence to produce reliable results in the kiln and bring home some great glass works of your own making.

Over the two day course we will cover the following:

Confidence with glass cutting

Health and safety in the studio

what is compatible glass

Glass and heat - what happens in the kiln

Trouble-shooting with examples of things to avoid

All materials are included and all necessary tools are provided

I teach using bullseye Glass (CoE90

COST

£150: This covers all materials, teachings and firings.

Tea and coffee will also be provided.
