Workshops
We are a community interest company producing some of the most progressive forgework projects in the UK.
EXPERIENCE BLACKSMITHING
We encourage smithing to people from all walks of life and offer courses for any occasion with no prior experience necessary. Specialising in the process of hot forging, you can expect to be standing at the anvil with a hammer and tongs in front of a forge. Explore your own project and practice your skills through the open access sessions or embrace the smithy guided by expert led courses. Located amongst a vibrant cluster of independent businesses and delicious food at ThePitt on the Granton waterfront.
Lecturing & Talks
Jack's Winston Churchill fellowship ‘regeneration for the British journeymen’ sparked his experience in both teaching and lecturing. He has delivered talks in person and online to numerous colleges and universities. He also worked as a personal tutor and gave lectures to the BA Hons Artist Blacksmith course at Hereford College of Arts and Master students at Steneby HDK in Sweden.
