Ripple sequins

As part of my postgraduate textile collection, this knitted SeaCell base fabric has been dyed with buckthorn bark and embellished with laser cut kelp sequins that I have foraged from Yellowcraigs beach, North Berwick. This piece has been inspired by sand ripples.

Barnacle

As part of my postgraduate textile collection, this digitally embroidered constructed textile piece has been inspired by barnacles. It has been worked back into by hand to create an intricate, tactile and textural textile piece to represent barnacles.

Cut Thread Ripple

As part of my postgraduate textile collection, this piece has been naturally dyed with seaweed foraged from Yellowcraigs beach, North Berwick. It has been constructed using digital embroidery and embellished with handmade eco resin seaweed beads and laser cut kelp sequins, again foraged from Yellowcraigs.

Drip bead tassels

Part of my postgraduate textile collection, this piece has been naturally dyed with seaweed foraged from Yellowcraigs. Constructed using knit to fix in the handmade eco resin seaweed drip bead tassels, this piece was inspired by seaweed on the rocks. Showcasing the diverse colours offered by seaweed.
