This is a small shelf with a mirror set into the wood made from this beautifully burred oak. The slightly offset mirror and sloping angles hint towards mid century design.

These vases are turned on the lathe and then burnt and scrubbed to reveal the patterns in the grain. Taking inspiration from ancient female forms found globally as icons and talismans.
