This course is suitable for adult beginners and those who would like to refresh or develop their skills.

There are various ways to build unique ceramic pieces by hand, which will be covered in this course - including the traditional coilbuilding, slab building and press moulding. Surface decoration will focus on different approaches at different stages, using slips, metal oxides and glazes to create texture, pattern and colour. Fiona has many years of experience of making pots by hand, and will demonstrate all the different techniques and how to plan your unique pieces.

Small class sizes mean lots more hands on support. All tools and materials provided.
