EOW is home to a vibrant community of makers, from furniture designers and upholsterers to metalworkers, bladesmiths, set builders, and textile artists. For one day only, our doors are open to explore behind the scenes, meet skilled craftspeople, and discover the talent shaping bespoke design in Edinburgh today.

What to expect:

Guided tours: Explore our fully equipped workshops - woodwork, metalwork, textiles, and screen printing - and see where ideas are transformed into one-of-a-kind pieces.

Exhibition & showcase: A curated display of resident makers’ work, from handcrafted furniture to bespoke upholstery and textiles.

Workshops: For those eager to get hands-on, a series of bookable workshops will also run throughout the day, including woodcarving, sewing, soldering, and furniture upcycling.
