Step into the magic of natural colour in this two-day eco-printing workshop at Deemouth Artist Studios, Aberdeen. Across two relaxed, hands-on sessions, you’ll learn how to extract pigments from plants and create beautiful, unique prints on cloth using the eco-print technique.
I’ll guide you through every step — from preparing your fabric and selecting plant materials to steaming your bundles and unwrapping their surprises. While we wait for our prints to develop, we’ll explore simple hand-stitching techniques to embellish your eco-printed textiles, adding texture and detail to your work.
With only 3 spaces available, this intimate class offers plenty of personal guidance and space to experiment. You’ll leave with a collection of eco-printed samples and the knowledge to continue exploring at home.
