Intermediate 4-Week Woodworking Course

This immersive 4-Week Woodworking Course is perfect for beginners looking to get hands-on with furniture making, as well as hobbyists keen to build their skills and confidence. Working closely with Chippendale’s expert tutors, with just two students per tutor, you’ll learn everything you need to take your own furniture design from an initial idea through to a beautifully finished piece. Over four weeks, you’ll design and build a small to medium piece of hardwood furniture, like a coffee table or a set of drawers, developing practical skills in areas such as joinery, hand tools, workshop machinery, shaping and finishing along the way. With tuition tailored to your chosen design, the course offers plenty of opportunity to learn by doing. You'll leave with the skills, knowledge and confidence to continue your woodworking journey at home, or ready to enrol in one of the School's more advanced classes.
