Transforming a sheet of silver into a piece of jewellery can be a fulfilling and exciting creative process.
This intensive course led by Jo Pudelko will introduce you to the traditional techniques and tools used to make jewellery.
The aim of this course, using demonstrations and structured guidance from the tutor, is to instil confidence as you learn techniques such as sawing, soldering, annealing, filing, texturing and shaping.
You can perfect many of these skills at home so this is the ideal kick-starter week if you want to embark on a longer jewellery journey. It is also ideal if you just want to come along and create for the week.
You’ll start by experimenting with copper before progressing on to silver for final pieces. Over the week you may even be able to create a small collection of jewellery!
