Join this two-day liquid enamel bowls workshop and explore enamel on a larger, more sculptural scale. Working with copper, you’ll learn various methods of applying liquid enamel so that it interacts to create intriguing surfaces and textures. You’ll experiment with patterning, stencilling and adhesive mark-making before exploring over-firing and under-firing techniques to produce different outcomes. Unleash your imagination, experiment and develop your skills throughout the weekend to create a series of samples. Once you’re comfortable with the techniques and have found your style, you will be ready to design and make a simple enamelled bowl that showcases the skills learned over the weekend.
