Anna Younie, an Orkney based ceramicist and recipient of the Craft Scotland Award in 2018 will be speaking about her latest body of work, The Brodgar Collection.
Working with black stoneware clay and China clay slip Younie’s ceramics are inspired from the eroded patterns that surround Orkney’s coastline. The forms remain simple to mimic the eye-catching standing stone formations of Brodgar and Stenness.
This event provides an informal opportunity to meet the maker and learn more about her creative process.
Please note that as this is an informal event seating will be very limited.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
