Join visual artist and jewellery maker Beth Wham for a reflective two-day workshop exploring storytelling through the delicate medium of porcelain.
As spring begins to awaken the landscape, draw inspiration from the natural world and from ancient objects that carry traces of ancient stories across time. Through sketching, journaling, and clay work, you’ll learn to create meaningful, wearable art that reflects your own narratives.
Day one will focus on exploration – finding patterns and textures from nature, sketching ideas, and experimenting with porcelain to bring personal symbols and stories to life.
On day two, you’ll start working with your fired pieces, forming a final piece of jewellery and shaping it in a way that resonates with you. By the end of the weekend, each participant will have crafted their own unique jewellery that captures their own story.
