Rya Weaving Workshop

Join this shaggy rya weaving workshop with Stephanie Fradette, aka Le Petit Moose. Tapestry weaving has seen a great resurgence in interior designs of late, and Rya weaving is a great way to achieve a contemporary art piece for your home. Stephanie will teach you how to incorporate this specific knotting technique into an abstract landscape-inspired wall hanging. During the course of the day, you will begin by sketching your design then focus on maximising textures and finding your weaving rhythm whilst learning the fundamental techniques of warping your loom, knot variations and finishing techniques. This class is ideal for beginners, as no prior weaving experience is needed.
