Edinburgh Open Workshop is delighted to launch its Spring Course Drop, celebrating longer days with a fresh programme of hands-on workshops designed to spark creativity and build practical skills.

Alongside the return of popular courses such as Make a Garden Bench and the week-long Introduction to Furniture Design and Making, this season introduces new textile classes alongside our well-loved woodworking, welding and DIY sessions.

Whether you’re trying something new or developing existing skills, the Spring programme offers time to slow down, learn, and create in a supportive environment.

New textile workshops include Sew Your Own Backpack and Sewing Techniques, while woodworking options range from Basics of Woodworking to more advanced furniture-making projects.

Welding courses suit all levels, and DIY classes help build confidence for home projects.
