City Art Centre, EdinburghHARVEST: Contemporary Craft Fair is a major new addition to Scotland’s cultural calendar for 2025. This ambitious showroom and multi-disciplinary selling exhibition will present a vibrant cross-section of contemporary craft being made in Scotland today.
Featuring the work of 80 exceptional makers from across Scotland, HARVEST: Contemporary Craft Fair will take place at Edinburgh’s City Art Centre from Saturday 11 – Sunday 19 October 2025.
Harvest offers a unique opportunity to see and purchase a curated selection of contemporary craft from around the country. Discover limited-edition pieces from leading independent makers and studios, from contemporary furniture to fine jewellery and ceramics. Find woven cushions and quilted textiles alongside contemporary basketry, glass serving ware, specially created lighting for interiors and handmade rugs, all of which will be available to buy.
Set across the entire fourth floor of the City Art Centre—just steps from Waverley Station—the Fair will immerse audiences in the work of Scotland-based makers, complemented by a rich programme of workshops and events.
At the heart of HARVEST is a celebration of contemporary craft and conviviality where the joy of gathering is brought to life through a curated gallery and retail experience.
With a focus on storytelling, sustainability and process, HARVEST explores themes such as ‘Living With Craft’, ‘Nature Positive Design’ and ‘Craft and Food Culture’.
Bringing together work from some of Scotland’s most innovative makers, the Fair reimagines the traditional craft fair model through a dynamic interweaving of showrooms, exhibition zones and retail environments.
