Honor is a maker, jeweller, and silversmith based in Edinburgh. Her work focuses on disruption and distortion, abstraction and iteration, primarily using Gothic architecture and classic Scottish design as the visual language, and silver as the basis of each creation. She utilises a wide variety of visual research, from stained glass windows and Gothic masonry to ancient Iron Age brooches and adornment, to inform her work, and has a passion for honouring classic and contemporary jewellery through traditional techniques employed in her work. Honor is committed to being a sustainable practice and is minimally wasteful across all materials. Her recent explorations in reticulation are inspired by the unpredictable textures found in silver, following a residency at the Domaine de Boisbuchet, France, supported by the Hammerman Incorporation of Edinburgh. Her practice began at the Greater Brighton Metropolitan College, where she completed her Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, then refined her skills and broadened her practice at Edinburgh College of Art, from where she graduated in 2024.
