Craft Scotland is a company limited by guarantee registered in Scotland no. SC 270245. Craft Scotland is a registered Scottish Charity no. SC 039491.

The conditions for the use of the Craft Marketplace are set out below and are additional to the Terms & Conditions for the use of the general site at www.craftscotland.org, which can be found here. The “Craft Scotland Online Seller” refers to the online seller who is selling their craft on the Craft Scotland Marketplace;
The “Craft Marketplace” refers to the online marketplace at www.craftscotland.org/shop where Craft Scotland Online Sellers can sell their quality, contemporary design-led craft;
The “Craft Scotland Office” refers to the Craft Scotland’s registered office at 15 Coburg Street, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6ET;
The “Product(s)”refers to the products from each Craft Scotland Online Seller
Privacy

You agree that we may collect, store and use information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of the Privacy Policy.

The contents of these pages, including web design, text, graphics and other material and their arrangement and selection along with the source code and software are copyright Craft Scotland, Craft Scotland Online Sellers and its agents or affiliates. Reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited unless for personal use. None of the content of this website may be copied or otherwise incorporated into or stored in any other design, logo, website, electronic retrieval system, publication or other work in any form (whether hard copy, electronic or other).
Orders & Payments
Craft Scotland does not guarantee items for sale on the Craft Marketplace. All Product(s) listed on our website are produced by Craft Scotland Online Sellers. When making a transaction on Craft Marketplace you accept that you are entering an agreement directly with the Craft Scotland Online Seller and therefore Craft Scotland is not responsible or liable for the condition of the Product(s).
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Unless otherwise stated, items on the Craft Marketplace website are in stock or available to be ordered and delivered. All orders are fulfilled by the Craft Scotland Online Sellers. All Product(s), regardless of location, are sold on behalf of the Craft Scotland Online Seller named on the Product page. Your transaction is between you and the Craft Scotland Online Seller, Craft Scotland only acts as an agent arranging the transaction.
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the Product(s) that your order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide at the checkout. After this time, the order may still be rejected at our discretion or if the Craft Scotland Online Seller cannot fulfil the order for any reason. If your order is rejected or the Product(s) within your order becomes unavailable we will contact you as soon as possible and you will be offered a full refund.
We and/or the Craft Scotland Online Seller reserve the right not to accept your order or to refuse to process a transaction at any time at our discretion. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between you and us (on behalf of the Craft Scotland Online Seller) on these Terms & Conditions.
Your details
By providing us with your details to make a purchase you understand and agree that:
- You will provide us with truthful personal information about yourself and will keep this information accurate and current
- You will not create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission and you will not share your account details with anyone else or do anything else to jeopardise the security of your account.
Price & Payment
The price payable for the goods that you order is set out on our website. If you fail at any time to pay any charges due in accordance with these terms and conditions we may, at our discretion and without prejudice to our other rights, refuse to provide you with our goods. We need not provide you with advance notice in such circumstance.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a confirmation of sale.
All prices are correct at the time of publication. Prices are shown in Pound Sterling.
We use Sage Pay to process payments through our website and do not make any representation or warranty with regard to their service.
If you purchase a Product or Products you agree that payments made through our website are made at your own risk.
When entering card details in the Sage Pay system you confirm that the payment method used is your own. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to Craft Scotland, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Purchasing handcrafted work
Please take into consideration when using the website that each Product is not mass-produced and is an original piece of craft handmade or designed and produced in small batches by our Craft Scotland Online Sellers. This means that there may some variations in terms of form, shape, design, colour or illustration from images shown on each Product page. In addition, some Craft Scotland Online Sellers will have a range of their work in stock while others will have Products which are made to order. Please see individual product pages for details.
Delivery
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted. Product lead times and delivery costs and services are set by the individual Craft Scotland Online Sellers. Delivery costs are visible on each of the product pages and are specified at the checkout and in your order confirmation email. The lead time is the period when the seller will post your item.
It is the responsibility of the Craft Scotland Online Seller to deliver the sold Product(s). Craft Scotland cannot be held responsible in the event of a delayed, lost or damaged delivery. A signed for/tracked delivery service will be used for the delivery of orders. Specific information relating to delivery services can be found on each individual product page.
When your partial or full order has been despatched by the individual Craft Scotland Online Seller, you will receive an automated email confirming its shipment. This will contain a tracking code and an estimated delivery date. Craft Scotland and the Craft Scotland Online Seller in no way guarantees the accuracy of the delivery date given.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellation
While we hope you love your new handcrafted purchase, you may cancel your order and request a refund or exchange up to 14 days from the delivery of the goods.
- You can cancel your order up to 14 days from you receiving your order. If your order consists of multiple Product(s) from same Craft Scotland Online Seller which may be delivered on different days, you must cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the final Product(s).
- Items which cannot be returned or exchanged include:
- Earrings for pierced ears
- Items custom made to your specifications
- You must contact Craft Scotland to authorise your return. Returns without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) will not be accepted.
- You will be responsible for the cost of the return of the item(s). We cannot accept responsibility for products lost or damaged by a third party.
- You must return the item(s) to the Craft Scotland Office within 14 days of receiving your RMA.
- All items must be sent back in their original packaging, with their original labelling and in an unused condition.
- Accepted returns will be credited to the original payment method within 14 days of the returned item(s) being received at the Craft Scotland Office. Please allow up to 10 days for the money to be received into your bank account. Original shipping charges will be refunded.

Consumer Rights
As set out in the EU directive and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the, as a customer you have the right to cancel a contract at any time within 14 days, beginning on the day after you received your order. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Product(s) in accordance with our Returns policy.
To cancel a contract, you must inform us in writing and return the products to the Craft Scotland Office immediately, in the same condition in which you received them and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products whilst they are in your possession.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Access
We reserve the right at our sole discretion to deny users access to our site or any part of our site without notice (including blocking IP addresses) and to decline to provide the service to any user that is in breach of these terms and conditions.
Accuracy & Variations
Both the Craft Scotland Online Sellers and Craft Scotland have worked to ensure Product descriptions, specifications and imagery are accurate, although some variations may occur. This includes variation in colour caused by images displayed on computer screens compared to actual products displayed.
We reserve the right at any time without notice to revise the content of our site (including the Product(s) for sale) and these terms and conditions. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on our site and by continuing to use our site following any such change will signify that you agree to be bound by the revised terms and conditions of use.
Complaints
In the event of a complaint or dispute regarding the Craft Marketplace, please raise the matter by emailing our customer service team at shop@craftscotland.org. We will do our utmost to get the issue resolved promptly.
Should we be unable to resolve a complaint that you make to us within eight weeks then you can use the European ODR platform, which allows you to file, respond to and resolve disputes.
Entire Agreement
These Craft Marketplace Terms & Conditions, together with our general Terms & Conditions of use, our current website prices, contact details and privacy policy set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods you buy by us on behalf of the Craft Scotland Online Seller. No verbal statements should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or a representation about the nature or quality of any services offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
