Gillian Stewart is opening up her studio for a very small number of places this winter, sharing some skills and creating beautiful books together. A perfect chance to gather with a friend for a quiet evening, making a Christmas gift, or a new journal for yourself to start the new year.
Led by a professional bookbinder (Gillian!), you’ll learn the skill of bookbinding, making a book by hand to take home with you! You’ll learn how to prepare the pages properly and sew your book together using a traditional bookbinding stitch, before making a bespoke personalised cover using hot foil techniques.
There will be an abundance of high-quality materials to choose from, and because you are gathering in the studio, you’ll have access to the full range of equipment, materials, and tools.
Wednesday 15th December - 6-9pm
£55 per person including all materials and festive refreshments
